You know that the e-bike components on this bike are awesome, but so is the rest of the spec on this bike. The FOX 38 Elite eMTB+ Air Fork brings 160mm travel to tame the trails and help give this bike some punchy personality. The Shimano XT shifters and rear derailleur offer smooth shifting, while the Shimano XT 4 Piston Hydraulic Disc Brakes give you all of the stopping power to control this beast and ride with confidence – these brakes really are a standout on this bike. Add to that the hand picked Maxxis Assegai 29×2.5″ Front Tyre/ 27.5×2.5″ Maxxis Agressor Rear Tyre combination to ensure that this heavier full suspension e-bike offers precision, playfulness, and traction on the trails. The DT Swiss Spline HX1501 ONE 30 Boost rims are built for fast paced mtb adventures with their light yet tough design. It’s all finished off with a Merida Comp TR Dropper Post so that you can get out of your seat and really let it rip.
The 9000 shares a lot of similarities with the 8000, overall both bikes have very similar spec and design, however the 9000 has better brakes, forks, rear shock and rims which can be a difference maker for the perfectionist. When all is considered, the Merida eOne Sixty 9000 is a high-end e-mtb that does everything you could ask for, with power to get you to the top and spec to ensure you can really let it rip on the downhill.
