• The Orbea Gain D30 road ebike looks just like a normal road bike and is great value. The D30 is based on the lightweight alloy Gain platform and runs on the highly regarded Shimano 105 11-speed drive train with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. It also has an integrated daylight running light and a tail light that is powered by the battery, a first for a road ebike.

• At just under 14kg the motor gives just enough oomph to take the edge of the hills and longer distances while still providing a ride that gives you all the things you love about road riding. 

• The Orbea Gain D30 ebike is a lightweight road ebike for beginner as well as intermediate road riders looking to take the edge of the hills and wanting the crisp and efficient shifting of the 11-speed Shimano 105 groupset. 

  The Gain platform won a Design & Innovation Award when it was released in 2018, introducing the first truly lightweight platform that “will change the lives of many cyclists. allowing them to rediscover two-wheeled freedom”. The Gain is stylish, simple and performs beautifully. It benefits from some excellent upgrades this year which provide better handling, additional comfort and safety and an even more natural ride feel. 

  The D30 model also comes equipped with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, a carbon fork, and tubeless-ready 30C tires. The geometry of the 2021 offers a more comfortable and agile ride and for the most part you won’t even realise you are riding an ebike…. except when the smooth assistance from the new eBikemotion X35 Plus motor kicks in and puts a massive smile of your face.
