This bicycle was produced in limited numbers by Bianchi in 1985 to

commemorate the 100 years of Bianchi bicycles.

Edoardo Bianchi started his small bicycle manufacturing shop in Milan in 1885.

It is the longest surviving bicycle manufacturer in the world.

These beautiful “Centenario” bikes were produced with a very special frame

finish that fabulously contrasts with the traditional Celeste decals, highlights,

saddle, bars, cables and toe straps.

The special one off head badge is gold plated, with gold frame highlights -

mostly faded with the passing of near 40 years.

The group set is a fully pantographed first generation top of the line

Campagnolo C-Record grop set, with the rare high flange “Sheriff Star” hubs.

The build is complemented with, special for this model Selle Italia saddle and

Vittoria tubular tyres.

This particular bike, serial number 00.320, appears to have never been ridden

and survives with a near new set of spare tyres, a Centenario 1985 jersey, and

contemporary matching bicycle bag. It was purchased from Italy in early 2015

and has been displayed at many bicycle events and shows since.

These are the most desirable and collectable commercially available Bianchi

bicycle.
