The Restrap Downtube Bag maximizes your bike’s storage potential by utilizing the often-unused space beneath the downtube. This 1.2L bag is particularly useful for smaller frames or riders who need additional capacity. It attaches effortlessly with a Velcro strap, eliminating the need for specific frame bosses, and offers fully waterproof protection to keep your belongings safe.
Constructed with a roll-top closure, the bag ensures that water, road spray, and trail debris stay out. A single Velcro strap, combined with a stitched-in grip pad, secures the bag tightly to your downtube, preventing movement and minimizing rattling during rides. The bolt-free attachment system also allows for quick and easy swaps between bikes.
While you can store a variety of items, the Downtube Bag is especially suited for carrying heavier essentials like spares and tools. Positioning these items low and centrally helps maintain your bike’s natural center of gravity. This is particularly beneficial if your bike is equipped with a dropper seat post or if your bikepacking setup doesn’t allow for traditional under-saddle storage.
